TOUR ITINERARY : Morocco Dessert Trip from Marrakech to Erg Chebbi 5 Days 4 Nights

► Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Skoura Palm:

Our Morocco desert trip from Marrakech begins with our driver picking you up from your accommodation. We will be crossing the high Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka Atlas pass 2260 meters above sea level for an amazing view of the landscape inhabited atlas Berber villages. We will be stopping in the UNISCO world heritage site of Ait BenHaddou (the fortified village), where we will visit its ancient Kasbah & enjoy lunch in a local restaurant close to it. In the afternoon we will have reached Ouarzazate, there we will visit atlas film studios the head to the city center to visit Taourirt Kasbah. Our final distention for the day is Kalaa M’gouna where we have dinner and spend the night in a hotel.

► Day 2: Skoura Palm - Valley of Roses - Dades Gorges - Tinghir - Todra Gorges.

Day 2 begins with breakfast before heading to Todra Gorges through the valley of roses. If time allows we can have a small off road detour to visit the nomad families inhabiting the caves. Along the trip we will visit the rock formations of dades gorges and stop for launch in Boulmane du Dades. We reach Todra Gorges in the afternoon. The canyons there are a marvel to behold. Dinner and overnight stays will be in a Kasbah hotel.

► Day 3: Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Erg Chebbi (Merzouga)

We pay a visit to the Todra River and the lush palm plantations around it, afterwards we drive to Tinjedad for lunch in a local restaurant. Our journey proceeds to Erfoud to visit the local fossil crafts workshop, along the way we would have passed the villages of Touroug (Berber village) and El-Jarf. Our final destination for the day will be Merzouga. After checking into the hotel, we will enjoy a camel trek across Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset for a truly photogenic view. The trek will deliver us to the nomad camps were we’ll get to enjoy an animated dinner by the campfire before we spend the night in bivouacs under the starry sky of the dunes.

► Day 4: Merzouga - Rissani - Alnif - N’kob - Agdz - Ouarzazate

Our day begins early as we catch the sunrise atop the dunes during our enjoyable breakfast. We will ride the camels back to our hotel for a quick shower before we hit the road to Ouarzazate via Rissani, Alnif, N’kob, Agdz. Detouring in each we will get the chance to: explore the souk of Rissani, discover the trilobite fossils of Alnif, and enjoy lunch in N’kob. After lunch we head toward Agdez and stop for a visit of Kasbah of Tamnaugalt situated on the palm groves of Daraa Valley. Later we will cross Ait saoun Mountains to reach Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight stay in a Hotel.

► Day 5: Ouarzazate - Ait benhaddou - High Atlas Mounatins - Marrakech

Our final day starts with breakfast in the hotel followed by a visit to kasbah of Taourirt then atlas film studios. After that we travel to Ait Benhaddou and visit its huge Kasbah and have lunch. In the Afternoon we will drive to the kasbah of Telouet and stop for a visit then we continue to the red city of Marrakech where you will be dropped at your accommodation.
