TOUR ITINERARY : Desert Tours from Marrakech to Merzouga Dunes 3 Days 2 Nights

► Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley

Our 3 days desert tours from Marrakech to Merzouga dunes begins by picking you up from your hotel or Riad at 07:00 am. As we cross the majestic high Atlas Mountain enjoy the scenic view of the foothill’s landscapes that are decorated by small Berber villages. Our first stop is the famous city of Aït BenHaddou, a UNISCO world heritage site and home to a big cinematic studio where some pf the most celebrated movies like gladiator & kingdom of heaven where shot. There we will visit Ait Benhaddou Kasbah before we continue our trip to Ouarzazate for lunch & to visit the old Taourirt Kasr with its 300 rooms! Then we take the road of the thousand Kasbahs passing El Kelaa of M’ gouna (Capital of the Roses). We arrive to our hotel in Dades Gorges in the evening for dinner and sleep.

► Day 2: Dades - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi)

Day 2 begins with a delicious Moroccan breakfast before departing to Todra Gorge from the hotel at 08:00 am. Being 300 meters high, Todra gorge is a favorite of mountain climbers and once there you will be given time to trek along the canyons before we have lunch. Our drive continues till we reach Merzouga where you will have access to the hotel’s pool. After the short break we head for Merzouga dunes for a 2 hour camel trek into the sunset. By nightfall we would have reached our nomad camp for an animated dinner by the campfire with the Touareg People. We will spend the night under the star studded sky in our camp tents.

► Day 3: Erg Chebbi - Tazarine - Agdez - Marrakech

We rise up early to marvel at the sun rising over the desert then we ride the dromedaries back to the hotel in Merzouga. Showers will be at your desposal and breakfast will be waiting for you there. Afterwards, we travel back to Marrakech in our air conditioned vehicles. On our way back we will be crossing Tazarine and the Draa valley, Agdz and Ouarzazate. In Ouarzazate we stop for lunch before reaching Marrakech by 07:00 pm.
